Definitions:
"You" means our customer or former customer - an individual who obtains or has obtained a financial product or service from CalPacific, that is to be used primarily for personal, family or household purposes.
"We" means clarion Mortgage Capital.

Clarion Mortgage Captial collects information from you to help us serve your financial needs (as in processing your loan application), provide customer service, offer new products and services, and fulfill contractual, legal and regulatory requirements. Information included on your application and related forms (such as name, address, social security number, assets and income);
Information about your relationships with us (such as products previously obtained from us and/or payment history);
Information from other outside sources (such as consumer credit reports, appraisals, and title policies);
Information from visitors to Clarion Mortgage Capital's web site (such as that provided through online forms, site visitation data, and online collection devices known as "cookies").
How We Protect Information
We restrict access to nonpublic personal information about you to those Clarion Mortgage Capital employees and licensees (the licensees that you authorized to place your loan application with us). These are the individuals that need to know that information to process your loan application or provide products or services requested by you. We do not sell or otherwise provide any of the personal information that we collect about our potential, current or former customers to businesses as a means of allowing such businesses to offer their products and services to you. Therefore, you do not need to take any action to prevent disclosure.

To wholesale companies that assist in our underwriting efforts including but not limited to credit reporting agencies, appraisers, and closing agents.
Those that perform marketing services for us or with whom we have joint marketing agreements.
We may disclose information in response to a subpoena, to prevent fraud, or to comply with an inquiry by a governmental agency or regulator (such as a state regulatory agency).
In addition, we may disclose your information as part of a Due Diligence Review being performed because of a merger, acquisition or sale of a loan, or loan portfolio.
Internet Privacy and Security
We are committed to protecting your information and online activity. For your protection, Clarion uses the highest industry standard for online security, Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption, to secure your online sessions. This process safeguards your Internet session from intruders.
The Clarion Web site uses temporary session cookies to assist us in securing your online activities and to enhance the performance of the site. The cookie stores a session ID that allows the site to recognize that a page request came from someone who has logged in. Once you leave the site, the temporary cookie expires and is deleted from your computer. We also use cookies to examine overall traffic flow to ensure the site is easy to use. We examine group activity and do not watch individual's browsing patterns.

We comply with the USA Patriot Act
To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires us to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who applies for a loan.
When you apply for a loan, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver's license or other identifying documents.
